About the Event
The wake up classes with our teacher Joy will leave you feeling energised, awake and ready to start your day heart centered. Open to all levels. Together we move through our holistic practice focused on gentle asanas (physical body), mantra (mental body), intention setting, healing our emotional body and calming the nervous system through your own voice and sound, breathwork (pranayama, energetic body). We finish the class on strengthening the immune system through certain pranayama techniques and a short guided meditation. This approach emphasizes a balanced class including a full repertoire of yoga techniques. The wake up Yoga classes are structured systematically yet artfully to align the physical, energetic, mental/emotional and intuitive self through the five elements of practice and the five energetic principles. You will come away with tools to help you move with greater ease, and use breath both to uplift and calm your whole system.
